EXCHANGE STUDENT NIGHT

The club hosted the 2014 Rotary Exchange Night designed to spread the word amongst the Rotary Clubs in the region of the benefits of hosting an exchange student.

A gathering of around 100 members (Rotarians, partners and other guests) heard a little about each of the four exchange students currently hosted local.

Paul Orschau from Germany (hosted by Dubbo West Rotary), Marti Llorente from Spain (hosted by South Dubbo Rotary), Roosa-Olivia Kallio from Finland (hosted by Narromine Rotary), and Sydney Fritch from USA (hosted by Mudgee Rotary) all shared a little of their home culture and provided an interesting perspective of their homeland.

An information night for interested students and their parents is scheduled to occur on Thursday February 26th at Club Dubbo for a future international exchange.
