Do you have a bit of history trapped inside a time capsule sent to you from the past?

 

In 1989 many Time Capsules were deposited for unveiling 25 years later in 2014. This time is nearly upon us. If you had a capsule sent through time to 2014 to you, then it will soon be available for collection.

 

1989-2014 Time Capsule

If in 1989 you, a family member or a representative from your organisation placed a time capsule into the time tank at Sir Roden Cutler Park in West Dubbo. Twenty-five years have now since passed and it is time to retrieve your time capsule and see what treasures lie within.

Date:  Saturday 4 October 2014

Venue: Sir Roden Cutler Park, Whylandra Street West Dubbo – in the park next to Club Dubbo / Dubbo West Bowling Club.

 

Program of events
10 am	Official welcome
10 am – 12 pm	1989-2014 time capsules to be raised from time tank.
10 am – 2 pm	Morning tea & BBQ lunch available.
1 pm	2014-2039 time capsules to be placed into time tank.
6.30 pm for 7 pm	Rotary Club of Dubbo West Dinner at Club Dubbo - dress Smart Casual.
